I can't help but feel sentimental. We just moved out of our original space. So much merriment moving the shoppe just a few blocks - onward and upward! Still, this first space holds so close to my heart. It's been our home for 5 years. These doors were the first doors that welcomed you, they kick started our business. 5 years! 5 years of amazingness!
This relocation is a smart business path for Oliver & Lilly's. We'd be nuts not to take this opportunity. But, for me having a shoppe has always been more than just about business and opportunities. It's about community, great people, cool clothes and local development. Here's to community!
Have a wonderful July friends. Darren and I are going to take some time to enjoy a little vacation before the new shoppe renovations begin. We're thinking about road tripping along the coast; maybe we'll camp or maybe we won't. Might just find a little run down cabin by the ocean, hit up the beach with a blanket and a good book. Sounds just about right.
Before we venture off, we just want to say thank you again for continually turning the corner and supporting our little place. I hope you follow us along the path to West 6th. I promise you'll love what we're creating with the new shoppe. It will be quaint, lovely, full of good music and great clothes - just like always. See you in August my sweet sweet friends.
