Wear how you like. I'm thinking tucked into a leather pencil skirt. Or, left loose with distressed denim.
Wait! Would look incredible with a cashmere sweatpant and rock-stud flats or heels. Hell ya!
The Hiver skirt.
What's a women to do with an extremely impressive skirt as such? Easy. Wear it with the simplest of tops and maybe some Vans. Understated and we like it that way. It's the best way to dress.
The Mirage Tee (below)
Hand-dyed by Heidi's production manager Fonzi. He helps keep us cool, because Fonz is the coolest. He's one of our favorite people.
H E I D I M E R R I C K Spring delivery one is now in store. We have a delivery arriving every month from the collection. A lovely way to unvail some of the most alluring pieces we ever did see.
Last October, Heidi hosted an intimate dinner party at her home presenting her Spring '14 collection. We were honoured to attend. Surrounded by lush gardens, candlelight, and a Moroccan feast - she told the story of Spring. From LA to Paris to Morocco. It's a beautiful tale.
As I put the finishing touches on our Fall buying this week. I sit and stare at our tumblr page, it helps me envision what I want that season to look and feel like. Fall is strong. But, before Fall, let's enjoy some Spring/Summer shall we. It's a beautiful season.
You can never have enough menswear inspired blouses. They pair well with everything. Underneath knits, tucked into high rise denim, pulled over a dress for a cardigan look. This season the fabric is a custom nature themed print. How cool with the city trouser and Willa sweater below. Just add a loafer and Lily bag, so very French and chic.
The Willa Sweater.
A slighty boxy crew neck knit. Paired over a blouse, a dress or alone with jeans. All equally chic.
I think this is the greatest sweater.
The City Jean.
Lightweight cotton in a custom geo print. These are meant to be worn loose and as casual as possible.
The Sadie dress.
So lovely. A classic long sleeve shirt dress in a stretch cotton poplin. We have a thing for navy.
Bonjour! Checking in from Paris. It's Wednesday evening and we're nestled inside our little Parisian apartment (which is above a cheese shop no less!) prepping dinner, sipping wine and the sounds of Chet Baker in the background. All the while listening to the rain take the evening away. Magic really.
We're on a big buying trip. In Paris for a week then onwards to New York. Filling our heads with inspiration and perspective. A little work, a little play and a lot of baguette!
I'll be snappin' some pics. If it interests you, follow along here + here, through instagram.
We've become close acquaintances with our new MOTHER denim Spring washes.
This is the Drop Out boyfriend jean in Hooked. And, that we are!
Literally fits like you've borrowed your dudes favorite pair of jeans. (Drop Out Hooked $248)
The Looker is a killer good skinny jean. Comfortable, nice rise and in this new blue hued wash for spring called Flowers from the Storm. Not only do we dig MOTHER jeans, we dig the names of the washes too. So good, all around. (Flowers from the Storm $218)
